5K Saturday & Sick Baby

Yesterday morning was wonderful!  Kaia, Todd, and I ran a 5K for wounded warriors.  I was soooo proud of our community yesterday.  My gym and another organization paid to put everything together, including snacks and t-shirts after and wonderful volunteers worked the race for free so that all proceeds went to the wounded warrior project.  Over 1000 racers came out and there were some genorous donors.  I believe they said over $70K was raised!  Yay!

But then yesterday evening my poor angel spiked a temp.  She hit up to 102 and was understandably upset and uncomfortable and had a hard time sleeping.  Baby tylenol was super helpful and baby's feeling a bit better this morning but were still not there yet.  Keep fingers crossed for her to feel better soon please!

Hope you all are having a great weekend!

poor babe! I hope she feels better. Congrats on the 5K! I ran one with Baby Bear last month, 154th place! At least I didn't come in last :)

Maya had a high fever only one time since she's been on earth. I plunked into a freezing cold bathtub and it came down immediately. I think she's been terrified to get sick ever since!

I hope your little one feels better ASAP. And congrats on the race!

Ah Khara I hope she's better soon. Fevers can be scary. I'm sure she'll be ok soon.

Cool about the race. Sounds like an awesome cause!

oh I am praying for her! hang in there. Grant had a 104 for a whole week and a half. the docs keep saying it was a virus but I was so scared. Just keep switching between tylenol and advil every 6 hours- that is what they told me

Congrats on the 5K but "dislike" on sick Kaia! Really hate when those fevers hit. Hoping she is back to norm soon! :)
